After building a new home, the area around the home resembled an industrial wasteland! We also built on a sloping block which we knew would require some level of retaining walls to be built. We contact Sean Gale, of S & J Landscapes for a quote firstly on retaining walls and then for ideas on how we could best landscape the block. Sean came back with a very competitive quote and some great ideas. 

All in all, S & J completed retaining walls on each boundary, a lovely hardwood deck, and level lawned and retained area to the back and a front garden with a small retaining wall as well as buffalo lawn to the front of the house. 

All work was carried out professionally and in and very timely manner. The tradespeople were really a great bunch of guys and it was a pleasure to have them in the back yard while the work was being done. Sean managed the project in a strict manner and would check the work at least once a day, to ensure everything was spot on. A really noticeable part of the work was the clean-up. After each day’s work the site would be cleaned up, surfaces hosed down and tools stacked out of the way. On completion the site was perfect, no mess and nothing for us to remove in the way of rubbish. We are really happy with the work, and would recommend S & J Landscapes highly to anyone.
